CABLCON acquired its certification to ISO 9001: 2000 and TL 9000 standard since 2003. We are committed to consistently improving our systems and product quality through the use of innovative approaches throughout our organization, operation and technical processes.
Past accomplishments do not ensure future success that is why the management of CABLCON has set higher goals for quality performance, customer satisfaction and product quality. We have invested in state of the art production and testing equipment. We have improved the effectiveness of education and training to become the most competitive and knowledge based company capable of sustainable economic growth.
Our main processes are kept under control utilizing SPC as a basic tool. Quality has become a preventative approach by offering solutions to enhance customer design and ensuring it is built into the product. Our goal is to utilize a cross-functional approach rather than a uni-functional organization. Our tools and resources for prioritizing and problem solving have a heavy reliance on appropriate statistical analysis.
CABLCON's policy is to ensure we deliver on time with an error free product. Doing so, our goal is to include Kaizen blitz programs along with six sigma quality solutions. We will measure customer satisfaction and provide this information to our customers. CABLCON quality system goal is to create a sense of accomplishment, value added, personal growth, organizational pride, and the satisfaction that goes by saying a job well done.
With these elements in place and functioning there is every reason to believe that CABLCON will achieve or exceed observed rates of continual improvement. More competitors are successfully utilizing Quality Management Systems as a key strategic driver; CABLCON sees the urgency to utilize effective tools with respect for the need of continuous improvement.
Quality Objective:
The Quality department's objective is to demonstrate that the quality system is being achieved, maintained and continually improved in accordance to the TL 9000/ISO 9001: 2000 standard. Upgrading our system to the new TL 9000 requirements will be accomplished in 2007. The changes in the adders will enhance our current quality system. The Quality department will be focused on supplying our customer with printed final test reports.
A storage and retrieval system will enhance and enable a quick response to customer concerns or complaints. Tolerances will be initiated for all CABLCON manufactured assemblies. The Quality Department will ensure all of the requirements detailed in our SOW or on the drawings are compliant on checked assemblies.
Fiber will have testing conducted by Quality and will be logged with each order for verification purposes. Continual Improvement Teams (CIT) will be added as required. These teams will provide the employees a chance to make a difference within the organization by giving them the resources and the flexibility to make changes within the company that will enhance quality and overall customer satisfaction.
